After hair transplant procedure, the hair follicles take time to get established in the scalp. After 30 days of the surgery a short period of shedding occurs followed by start of hair growth. Hair growth can be noticed by touching the scalp with your finger 3-4 months after the surgery and full results are achieved 8-12 months after the transplant. The rate of hair growth is about 7-10mm/month.
