1)The most common after effect of hair transplant is swelling around the eyes and forehead which goes away in 2-3 days on its own.
2)Pain also occurs in about 5% patients but in our center due to fine punch technique and medication for pain we are able to provide a painless procedure.
3) Numbness is experienced in some cases. This goes away in 3-4 months when superficial nerves regenerate.
4) Itching occurs in 10-15% cases. Itching occurs as the body releases histamines during the healing process. In case the patients experience severe itching then antihistamines can be taken.
